SOMA’s CALLING

Sharing of Ministries Abroad (SOMA) is called to equip the Church for ministry through renewal in the Holy Spirit for the purpose of transforming individuals, churches, and communities. SOMA pursues flexible and compassionate ways of serving the Anglican Communion and the wider Church, principally through cross-cultural short-term missions.

In obedience to Jesus Christ and in response to this ‘call’ SOMA USA will:

1. Select, train and send mission teams overseas under the appropriate Anglican authority 2. Work for the re-evangelization of our culture through the renewal of the Episcopal Church by

bringing missions to the USA.

3. Empower the Anglican Communion more fully to be a Prayer Driven Church by
