Choose this day whom you will serve…
As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD (Joshua 24:15)
Equip Leaders
SOMA mission teams equip, empower, and renew Christian leaders in the U.S. and abroad. Through the transforming grace of the Holy Spirit, God uses SOMA Teams to prepare Christians for the work of ministry.
Reviving Churches
SOMA brings renewal to churches that invite a mission and to churches that send missioners. As a team teaches and ministers, discipleship and commitment to the gospel begin to flow in both directions.
Transforming Communities
SOMA has an exponential effect on the Church through our ministry to clergy and lay leaders. Through practical equipping and by God’s power, Christians are prepared to influence the wider community and secular leaders with the Gospel.

Muscles for your feet
I'm so encouraged from Rehydrate. I came in very tired and ready to receive and prepare for my three-month sabbatical. During the spiritual gifts session, I went through the list of gifts and saw “Apostle.” I know I already have that gift, but sometimes you want more. As an Apostle, you sometimes think you need every gift! So, I thought, “I can't go up 20 times for everything”…but I pretty much did!
Father to the Fatherless
On Friday, during the spiritual gifts impartation prayers, I felt called forward to receive prayers for the gifts of faith, knowledge, and wisdom. After the prayers I sat down and began to pray for the armor of God over me. During that time I felt the Lord say to me, “I want you to be a father to the fatherless.” Since I work in youth ministry, there was a clear connection.
Director’s Corner
…Last month, while preparing for a quiet retreat, I needed to pick up a few items. I felt prompted by the Spirit to shop at a store I rarely visit. Although I had other plans and hesitated, I eventually relented. While there, I overheard a man playing New Age mysticism on his speakerphone. I thought, “Oh man!” and walked away. Ten minutes later, we crossed paths again, and this time the Holy Spirit urged me to speak with him.
