PRAY - SERVE - INVITE
Sharing of Ministries Abroad is dedicated to strengthening Anglican leaders and the Church worldwide. We send specialized teams to EQUIP, RENEW & EMPOWER Christians to fulfill the Great Commission through the transforming grace of the Holy Spirit.

We believe we are called to serve as part of the “nervous system” of the Body of Christ. Just as the nervous system alerts the body when something is wrong, we remain watchful in prayer for the global Church—particularly where believers are suffering, facing conflict, persecution, or hardship.
If you would like to stand with us in prayer, we invite you to join our growing community of intercessors. To receive prayer updates, please email Julie Huggins.

What is a SOMA mission?
SOMA missions can be from 6 days to two weeks. We work at the invitation of a local Anglican Priest/Bishop/Archbishop and bring renewal teaching and ministry to their dioceses. Teams will always have an experienced leader, current church leader and a mix of lay and ordained team members and are often drawn together from more than one nation.
For each Mission we build a unique program, tailored to address current challenges or needs as identified by the inviting Clergy. As the Mission progresses, we adapt the schedule as led by the Holy Spirit through intercessors, delegates and the team.
Join a team!
We are always seeking team members for SOMA missions. If you are willing to take a step of faith into the unknown and move out of your comfort zone, then joining a SOMA team could be a good fit for you!
Of course, teams include those who can teach and preach, but if you can tell your faith story and pray with others you could be part of a team too. Team members raise funds for their travel and accommodation, yet in the past ten years not one person who has said ‘yes’ in faith to being on a team has not seen the Lord’s provision, sometimes in remarkable ways.
What does being on a SOMA team mean?
Being on a SOMA team is about far more than a two-week trip. Team members come together as a learning cohort — preparing, growing and serving side by side. Whether you’ve been in ministry for decades or this is your first mission experience, we all have something to learn. Teams are designed as both an opportunity and a process: a chance to invest deeply in your spiritual life and leadership, and to learn from the Church around the world.
Your questions will be supported by our Mission Handbook, pre-field meetings, and ongoing guidance from our office team. Together, these tools will prepare you to play your part in bringing lasting transformation — before, during and long after the mission.

INVITE A TEAM
Our National Director, along with some of our National Leadership Team and Authorised Team Leaders are available to come and share ‘olive branches of hope’ from around the world in your Sunday services, weekends away, and conferences.
We work along-side diocesan leadership to form the perfect mission conference for attendees. We have Core Teachings to which additional topics can be added to fit the needs of the bishop or clergy. If you would like to invite a SOMA Team, please contact Kyle Spradley
SOMA also leads domestic conferences in the U.S. called Transformed: Living Your Identity In Christ. This one-day workshop is led by one or more experienced SOMA leader. It is fit for a single parish or, can be scaled as a diocesan event. The feedback has been phenomenal and the transformations observable! To invite a Transformed workshop, please contact Kyle Spradley, National Director of SOMA.
